Are you a blogger, creative entrepreneur, career girl, or just in search of living a life with intention and purpose? Do you need a kick in the butt to make your dreams a reality?
Then you NEED to start listening to podcasts ASAP!
Today I’m sharing six inspiring podcasts for personal development that will leave you feeling super motivated to tackle your goals!
Podcasts are great because you can pop them on in the car when you get ready for work, or at the gym. There’s just something really inspiring about the power of listening to someone talk vs. reading information on your own.
When I’m not working my 9-5 or hustling with my blog, I love learning about ways to improve my own development as a person. I just LOVE learning + growing as a person.
Is anyone else obsessed with learning as much as I am?? I was that person that loved going to my college classes in large lecture halls obsessively taking notes and sipping on my Starbucks. I’m not in college anymore (thank God) but I still find ways to continually learn.
My top 6 podcasts for personal development
1. Happier with Gretchen Rubin
Author Gretchen Rubin and her sister, Elizabeth Clark, discuss how to create healthy habits that stick.
They have the perfect dynamic and use their own experiences to share actionable tips and advice to create a little happiness in your life.
Listen to: The One Minute Rule is a habit trick that means anything you can do in less than a minute, do it right then and there. I recommend trying it if you always avoid things you don’t want to do, which many of us struggle with.
She also has two-minute episodes that reflect on a quote or story that always sends a great message. The episode My Inconvenience May Be Someone’s Miracle really struck a chord with me.
2. Optimal Living Daily with Justin Malik
Technically an audio blog, Justin Malik reads different blog posts (with permission) and episodes are always short and sweet (under 10 minutes).
It’s actually a really refreshing alternative to listen to blog posts, rather than reading them.
3. 5 AM Miracle with Jeff Sanders
I first mentioned this podcast in my 10 Ways to Live a Happier Life post and it’s quickly become one of my go-to podcasts for healthy habit tips.
I really like how Jeff outlines his tips into easy steps, making it much easier to internalize and put into action! The 5 AM Miracle continues to inspire me to wake up earlier to get sh*t done
4. The Balanced Blonde // Soul On Fire Podcast with Jordan Younger
I just started listening to The Balanced Blonde not too long ago (thank you to Katherine of Slightly Savvy for recommending it on Twitter.)
Jordan takes a very conversational approach and has a blend of guest interviews with solo chats.
Topics you’ll find include all my favorite things: holistic health & wellness, spirituality & the universe, blogging & entrepreneurship, high vibe living, woo woo…plus so much more!
This is totally the show for you if you have an open mind to exploring topics that are beyond this world. I love Jordan’s energy and I always learn so much from her!
Listen to: Real Talk Solo Episode: My Spiritual Journey
5. The Lively Show with Jess Lively
This podcast is all about intentional living and following your intuition, and how to apply them to your everyday life.
Not only is Jess Lively incredibly inspirational herself (she is a full-time traveler!), but her show always has the most inspiring bloggers, influencers, business owners, etc.
And she is SO good at asking the right questions. This podcast might be a little “out there” for some people, but if you’re into the woo woo stuff, you’re probably already listening to it!
6. The Goal Digger Podcast with Jenna Kutcher
I saved the best one for last! The Goal Digger Podcast with Jenna Kutcher is geared towards creative girl bosses, but every episode is jam-packed with valuable life lessons to get your ass in gear. Jenna is one of my all-time favorite entrepreneurs and I listen to her podcast RELIGIOUSLY. Not only are her episodes super informative for bloggers and budding entrepreneurs, but they’re a constant reminder to live authentically, intentionally, and purposefully.
Listen to: How to Graciously Say No
And those are 6 of my favorite inspiring podcasts. What are yours? I’d love to check them out.
